Monochromatic Artist studio, is a two-storied studio apartment connected with a large terrace, nestled in a quiet locality with lots of greens surrounding it, makes this space a hidden gem.
The client had a relatively clear brief for the space, it was to be a workplace, a studio for the artist as well as a weekend getaway within the city wherein she could zone out from the noise around without having to travel out of the city. The space was to be a blend of creativity and peace.
The materials used are in their most natural forms rough stone, brick walls, rough plaster, wood and metal, to adhere to the client’s ideology of wanting a serene space which stimulates creativity.
